The downloader above collects the pages, images and files the Wayback Machine saved. A raw archive download is a starting point, not a finished website: links can still point to the archive, forms and logins do not work, and static files are hard to edit. Our website restoration services turn that archive into a working, editable site on the platform you choose.
See every option on the website restoration services page, compare starting prices on the pricing page, or request a free archive review and we will tell you what can be restored before you order.
Use the downloader when you only need a copy of the archived files, for example to keep a record or hand them to a developer. Choose restoration when the site has to go live again, be edited in a CMS, keep its old URLs or sell products. Our downloader vs restoration guide explains the difference in detail.
Public snapshots store visible pages, images, styles and some files. They do not hold databases, passwords, customer accounts, orders, server code or pages the archive never crawled, so no downloader or service can recover those from the archive. Restoration rebuilds what was captured and identifies what needs a replacement.
